Sunflowers just make my heart happy

Autumn days have begun, 1st September and we were at The Pop Up Farm for sunflowers 🫶🏻

I adore them, and the Pop Up Farm⁣, it’s definitely one of our happy places to go in the autumn. ⁣Its only about twenty minutes from home too which is a bonus.

Grayson is already on a countdown as to how many days it is until they open for pumpkin season! ⁣To be honest I am too!

Such a gorgeous setting, so quirky with the piano and the bathtub amongst the flowers. Perfect for photos, and thankfully they all cooperated today and we had no meltdowns – think there is a first time for everything.

They loved playing on the hay bales, whilst I picked yet more sunflowers.

Sometimes you just have to grab a selfie in the sunflowers

I managed to drag them away from playing to take a quick bath! What a blissful bath location – maybe I just need to lose the children and the photographer and it would be pretty perfect!

We left with rather a lot of sunflowers! Some with roots too, which we have enjoyed planting in a huge tub this evening. So gorgeous to have them in the house and also the garden too.

Autumn is just the most gorgeous season, full of colour, and outdoorsy time. Plus its the start of bobble hat season too in a few weeks when it starts to chill a little, and we all know how much I love a hat!

Totally stopped off at TKMaxx on the way home and got way to excited with all their autumn / halloween decor. Restrained myself and left with three autumnal candles and a new pair of slippers – its autumn don’t judge! It doesn’t have to be cold enough for slippers, haha its just slipper season.

The start of autumn in our home – this is just the beginning
